Welcome to my blog! As you may have guessed, my name is Mwali, and this is my personal blog filled with beautiful and inspiring images that I love and that make me happy. I love Jesus, I love my friends and family. I also love celebrating my birthday, which is on September 30th. I am not perfect, but maybe that is how it is meant to be. Day 137: one of your wildest dreams
One? ONE? Really? Nope! lol! :)
- get married
- have a baby
- go bungee jumping (the real deal, no substitutes!)
- ride in a hot air balloon
- ride a motorcycle
- go mountain climbing (again, the real deal)
- go to the Democratic Republic of Congo
Day 136: if you were 12 and looked at yourself in the future, would you be happy
I would probably be disappointed in some respects. Proud because I made it so far, but I still have a lot to work on for my 12 year old self to be happy with 21 year old self. It sucks to say this, but it is true, but I trust that things will get better, and I have faith that the Lord will deliver me from my existing struggles. Happiness is not a destination, but rather a state of mind. I have faith that everything will work out! :)
Day 135: is change a good thing
Let’s be real here. Not everyone likes change, but it is going to happen. So deal with it. Good thing? Sometimes. Bad thing? Not always. If anything, give change a chance. If you don’t like it, fix it. You’ve got the power! :)
Day 134: do you have a reason to smile right now
There is always a reason to smile. I am alive, breathing and healthy. Jesus loves me, even though I am usually a mess. :) I finished two essays today and I am caught up with my reading for school. Tomorrow I am going to learn a whole lot in the emergency department, and I even got a slice of lemon cake earlier today! Life is good, and I am happy. Now that is something to smile about! :)
Day 133: if you had to choose between a million dollars or to be able to change a regret, what would you do
A million dollars, come my way please! What is meant to happen will happen. For sure, I have done things that I regret, but there is not a whole lot that I would change, and I definitely wouldn’t change a thing if that means that I will receive a million dollars! :)
Day 132: do you believe ex’s can be friends
It really depends on the people, and I guess on how the break up went. Some people rock at the whole friend thing, but with a guy, I feel that I would struggle with the emotional attachment and change of boundary thing, or altogether get on the extreme hate side. Again, might depend on how the break up goes. But honestly, if you hurt me, at this point, don’t expect me to be super nice. You ain’t getting no cookies from me! :)
